Google Earth is the coolest piece of software mankind has developed since the original version of Pac-Man.  It is also the perfect backdrop to tell the story of our journey.

This Google Earth path matches a hundred or so references in the book 360 Degrees Longitude.  If you're here because you want to look up a picture or story listed in the book you've come to the right place.

Want to see Plastico, the flesh-eating alligator of the Amazon?  Click on Chapter 25 and go to the "Plastico!" link.  You'll see our camp in the Bolivian Amazon and even see Plastico with spaghetti in his mouth.

First you need to install Google Earth on your computer
(3 minutes).  Google Earth requires a broadband connection to the Internet.  For a quick Google Earth tutorial, click here.
